+Had a craving for Tenpura soba. Normally I prefer with hot noodles but my husband prefers cold ones. Tenpura is a lot of work but it certainly was worth making efforts.

Denmark Trip 12 - Breakfast on the train

Went to Roskiled to see the famous Cathedral and to visit the Viking museum via train. My sister packed delicious breakfast sandwiches for us.

Smoked salmon sandwich. "Okologisk" on the apple juice packet means organic. You often find Okologisk products in Danish supermarkets.

This cafe has amazing selections of tea and it serves very special desserts which are baked by the cafe owner's grandmother. The desserts are good old Danish homemade desserts and they are so delicious. They also have excellent coffee.

This museum is one of many must see spots in Copenhagen and is well known for its cafe. There are seats both inside and outside.

Denmark Trip 5 - Diversion to Malmö, Sweden

We went to the neighboring country, Sweden today. Although it is a different country, the city Malmö is very close and easy to get to from Copenhagen. After walking around in the town, we had a very nice lunch at a lovely cafe Smak ( http://www.smak.info/index.cfm). It is a bit of walk from the train station but it is definately worth visiting. The price is reasonable and the food is just wonderful.
